Hidden gem. I love nothing fancy places that the food speaks for itself. In town for the Spartan race and stopped in purely by accident. Let me start by saying the employee was over-the-top nice and informative. I gauge any BBQ place on their beef brisket and coleslaw. That's what I ordered and was not disappointed one bit. Exceptional. a bevy of sauce choices that weren't the best I've had but the food shined. The creamy slaw was one of the best I've ever had. I could have ate a pound I swear. The brisket was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Topped it off with a honey cream soda in a bottle that was the icing on the cake. If I wasn't so full they had a Butterfinger bar dessert on the counter that looked just as amazing as the dinner. I would have a hard time staying away from a place like this if I was local. I would love to return to try the pulled pork and ribs next time.
